The logo was designed by Sig and Kuha’o Zane. It incorporates the Hilo braid to represent the new mission statement, “Braiding the voices of Hilo – moving forward together” with the three districts of Hilo are listed below the design. The back of the T-shirt features the phase “Hilo pa’a ‘ia ke aloha i na Hilo,” which means, “Bound is the aloha for all of Hilo.” To purchase a T-shirt for $20 visit the DIA office at 203 Kilauea Street in Hilo and ask for Sita. The T-shirts come in beige in sizes small-XXL or white in small or medium.
